One nice idea would be to export buzztard songs for the Jokosher multi-track recoder. Their project format is relative simple. This could be implemented as a save-only song-io plugin. Might me a good idea to take different tracks-starts into account (in a second version).

Once the buzztracker plugins work, it would be great to be able to import old tracker modules (mod, xm, ...).

I don't know if this plays well with Gstreamer but as a linux music composer I seem to be missing jack-inlets/outlets as a module. (same goes for midi in/out and even OSC)
